Miracles flow from expressions of love and are the natural state of affairs
Love is a power that desires to continually extend itself, in all directions, and to everyone. As learned in “Part 2: Miracles flow from a change in thought,” the ego uses fear as a distraction. It misuses the creative power of the mind in a feeble attempt to short-circuit love’s power.
The good news is that love merely needs us to shift our full attention to it. Doing so, love effortlessly heals a world that is weary of indulging the ego’s expressions of fear. The miracle provides us the opportunity to become love’s healing partner. It does this by gently changing how we perceive the imaginations of the ego, not by eradicating the fear. To love, fear does not exist.
The miracle maker laughs at fear
The Miracle Maker knows that fear’s physical sensations in the body are merely the ego’s temper tantrums. The Miracle Maker treats the ego like an understanding parent treats a three-year old who is thrashing about a grocery store isle over an unpurchased candy bar. While the child may be temporarily angry at the parent for not indulging him, the parent rises above the anger by focusing on her love of the child.
The miracle maker sees only love
